American Horror Story: Hotel - Three Regulars Return

With a slew of new cast members such as Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson and former guest actors like Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigny being upped as regulars for American Horror Story: Hotel, there are of course at least three regulars from previous seasons who will be appearing this year as well.

Kathy Bates, who in previous seasons has played murderous slave owner Madame Delphine LaLaurie and bearded lady Ethel Darling will be a regular in the upcoming season. While the name of character has not been revealed, Ryan Murphy has confirmed via his Twitter account that Bates's character will own the hotel in question. To me that sounds like it's Bates who has inherited the usual leader type of role that Lange usually has had rather than Lady Gaga, right?

Also coming back will be Sarah Paulson. The actress who has previously appeared in the last four seasons playing characters such as medium Billie Dean Howard, lesbian reporter Lana Winters, the Supreme herself Cordelia Foxx and conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tatler. Sarah will be playing the baddest girl in the upcoming season, again according to Ryan Murphy. I've been wanting to see Paulson as a villain for ages on this show and I'm so psyched that it's finally going to happen.

Last to be confirmed (for now) is Evan Peters. Like Paulson, Peters has been in the previous four seasons  first playing the rather homicidal Tate Langdon before moving onto more sympathetic characters such as Kit Walker, Kyle Spencer and lobster boy, Jimmy Darling. The only thing we know about Evan's role is that he's checking into Room 64, whatever that may mean. It's nice to see a few more of the familiar return to the show but I am hoping for at least one or two more new blood to round off the casting for this particular season as well.
